One-liner
A cozy fishing RPG set in a quiet coastal village where every tide brings something new.
Description
Sandpiper Point is a small, sleepy fishing village where life moves at its own pace. Seasons change, tides shift, and somewhere beneath the surface, the water holds secrets worth discovering — the sandpipers, the birds the town is named for, have all but vanished, and nobody seems to know why.
Fish with multiple techniques across rivers, lakes, and open sea — each environment home to its own species, with habits shaped by the season, weather, and time of day. Read the conditions, match your gear, and feel every bite through a hands-on catch minigame.
Beyond fishing, the world is full of things worth finding. Gather resources, process your catch, craft gear from scratch, and explore distant islands by boat. The residents of Sandpiper Point live on their own schedules — build relationships, complete favors, and the town slowly opens up in ways you didn't expect.
Every day in Sandpiper Point is yours to shape.
History
I grew up two meters from a river.
Not figuratively — our house was literally on the bank. I grew up there with my older brother — I'd wake up to the sound of water, spend summers swimming and fishing, and come home muddy and sunburned every evening. My father still lives there. Same house, same river, same quiet rhythm that the rest of the world never quite seems to have.
We left. Like a lot of people do — for work, for opportunity, for the kind of life that only seems to exist in big cities. And the city delivered. But it also has a way of making you forget what slow mornings feel like, what it's like to know your neighbors, what seasons actually mean when you live close to the land.
Sandpiper Point is my return. Not a real one — not yet — but a game one. It started as an attempt to bottle that feeling, to rebuild the town I left in a way I could actually live in again. Every fish, every NPC with a routine, every rainy morning at the dock — it's all built from something real, and from the ache of being somewhere far from it.
Sandpiper Point is still in active development. It'll ship when it's ready — a game that earns its place in the cozy genre rather than simply occupying it.
